CLIENT DIARIES

Dr. Bio 7272
RDM Industries USA

Background
Dr Bio 7272 was established to work on the current infrastructure of blown film extrusion line. The client is located in California USA and is a pioneer in Compostable films in West Coast USA. The client wanted to produce Bio Hazard Compostable bags on his existing setup.

Operations

A compostable film of 20 and 35 microns with printing with red pigment was produced and tested for mechanical properties, sealing strength which found to be pass the required standards. The film was run at 145 degrees C or 290 F on the extrusion plant and the client intends to produce5 million bags per month and further shall increase capacity over time.

Background
Dr Bio 7279  was established to work on the current infrastructure of profile extrusion line(processed in all general extruders: monolayer and multi layer). The client produces filaments for 3-D printer and required compostable Dr. Bio polymer to offer best quality printer filament and sustainable solutions to end customers. Dr. Bio Polymer to offer sustainable to end customers.

Operations
3D printing filament is generally consisting of processes like heating, extruding and cooling to transform granules into the finished product, the filament is pulled from outside rather than pushed through the nozzle to produce the filament. The temperature was setup between 165-190°C. and the client intends to produce more products to remove plastic in 3D printing.month.

D.R. INDUSTRIES, DELHI, INDIA

Background

Dr. Bio 7279 was established to work on the current infrastructure of Injection moulding which is a process of producing parts by injecting molten material into a mould, or mold. The client produces Biodegradable cutlery and required compostable Dr. Bio polymer to offer best quality spoons or others cutleries and provide sustainable solutions to end customers

Operations

Injection moulding is a manufacturing process for producing parts by injecting molten material into a mould, or mold. Injection moulding can be performed with a host of materials mainly including metals (for which the process is called Die-Casting) & most commonly thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers. Material for the part is fed into a heated barrel, mixed (using a helical screw), and injected into a mould cavity, where it cools and hardens to the configuration of the cavity. Plates, spoons, forks & glasses are made using this process.
